Catering to what is termed the “creative class,” this renovation, the second project I’ve done for this client, is an adaptive reuse of an old warehouse on Charlotte Avenue in Nashville. The intent was to restore the original facade acknowledging this structure’s glorious past, while establishing a more contemporary modern environment.
A new entrance was designed to give rise to a more contemporary voice, and irregular skin and windows added take advantage of the natural adhoc feel of the modifications throughout its history. The interior courtyard adds a unique and unexpected amenity for all of the tenants.
